It’s the holiday season and that means you’re cooking a great meal in the oven. Baking is easy and tasty but often leaves you with a dirty and greasy oven. Today we’re going to go over oven cleaning with all-natural ingredients.
Step 1: Cleaner Making
After empty the oven, mix a half cup of baking soda and 3 cups of water. This is the perfect ratio for spreading consistency.
Step 2: Oven Coating
Spread the paste you just made in the interior area of your oven. An easy way to do this is by using gloves or brushes. Make sure to not put any paste on the heating area. Let the paste sit in your oven for at least 12 hours.
Step 3: Oven Racks Cleaning
While the paste sits in your oven, you can remove the oven racks and soak them in hot water. Add some detergent and wipe clean the racks.
Step 4: Wiping
After 12 hours, take a moist sponge and wipe as much of the paste as you can. For the hard-to-reach places, You can use a silicone or plastic spatula to help scrape the paste off the oven.
Step 5: Spraying
If you still see baking soda paste in the oven, you can spray some vinegar water to dissolve the paste. Vinegar can also help sanitize your oven. After that, do a final wipe down of your oven.
