A clean bathroom experience is more than just a nice thing but its important for the health of our families. In every toilet, there are over 3.2 Million bacteria per square inch! That’s over 600 million bacteria living in the toilet bowl.
While many of these little germs are not harmful to people & pets, there are a few types of bacteria that form in bathrooms that can be very harmful and can result in even hospitalization.
1 – Staphylococcus Aureus – This is the bacteria that can form staph infections. These bacteria can cause a range of illnesses, from minor skin infections, such as pimples, boils, and abscesses, to life-threatening diseases such as pneumonia. Yikes!
2 – E. Coli – This bacteria is safe in humans up to a certain level however once the amount becomes too great, people can spend up to a month in bed, sick to their stomach, spending more time in the bathroom than which they thought possible!
3 – Shigella – Shigella can cause extreme diarrhea and is responsible for up to 165 million cases of diarrhea worldwide. But this sickness is no joke and is responsible for up to 600,000 deaths worldwide every year.
Cleaning the bathroom gives your family more than just a tidy room but also protects their health.
